| From the Puerto Vallarta airport, turn
LEFT
and take Highway 200 NORTH (the opposite direction from downtown
Vallarta)
in the direction of Tepic, for 96 kilometers (about 62 miles) until
you
reach LAS VARAS. As you enter LAS VARAS, you must move to the extreme
right, off the main highway, in order to turn LEFT at the traffic
light and
continue for 68 kilometers (about 33 miles). As you pass through
Zacualpan, you will make a left turn at the main plaza, and continue
following the highway towards San Blas. When the highway "T's" just
past
El Llano, make a left turn and continue towards San Blas. (do not
continue
in the direction towards Santa Cruz) and you will drive along the
coast for
about 15 kilometers through the village of Aticama. From the plaza in
Aticama you go towards San Blas another 8/10 of a mile and on the left
you
will see a large rock arch with a gate, the gate is not locked. Open
and
proceed up the cobbled palm lined driveway till you can only go left,
take
the next right and you are at your destination. Look for the large
turquoise gate at the end of the driveway and ring the bell.
SOUTH FROM SAN BLAS: If you are coming south from San Blas, just before you enter Aticama there is a school and just beyond the school you will see a large rock arch with a gate. Turn in there, the gate is not locked. Open and proceed up the cobbled palm lined driveway till you can only go left, take the next right and you are at your destination. Look for the turquoise gate at the end of the driveway and ring the bell.  | |||||
